DAPP UK has transferred another £10 000 to Academy for Working Children in Delhi, India!
Academy for Working Children is running classes for poor street and working children who have never attended school or are school-drop-outs. The projects provide education for 3 – 4 hours a day which means the children can continue with their work afterwards. The project also organizes health check ups of the children, awareness campaigns and provides education for illiterate parents and youth from the local community.

We can proudly announce that DAPP UK has sent the first donation of £10 000 to Academy for Working Children (AWC). With the money HPPI (Humana People toPeople India) will start new study centres in the slums near Delhi. The plan is soon to send another £10 000 to AWC.
We also received a donation of £1 000 from Gilchrist Educational Trust who wanted to support our AWC in Gurgaon.
From Open Gate Charitable Trust DAPP UK received a donation of £1 500 which cover 50% of a donation sent also to Humana People to People India.
In total DAPP UK sent £3 434 to a project addressing FOOD SECURITY.
