Big shop opened in Warrington

DAPP UK’s second hand shop number two has opened in Warrington’s shopping centre on the 17th of October.
A big 2000 sq.ft. shop with in total 4000 items of clothes and textile, shoes, bric-a-brac and books. Departments for Women, Men and Children.

We want to thank all the volunteers, who have helped us to open the shop in only 8 days: Preparing all the clothes, painting, changing the carpet, building the fitting rooms, putting up the sign and distributing thousands of leaflets. Thank you to Aga, our shop Manager in Northampton, who was helping us with the pricing of all the clothes. Thank you also to the builders, who worked hard the Thursday, Friday and Saturday before the opening and a big thank you to our neighbour, who served hot food to all of us during the preparation week end.

The first day we enjoyed more than 200 customers. The shop has been an old ‘curtain shop’, so we decided that we in this second hand shop want to have a big department for house hold, bedding and curtains.  We trust that this big shop will be used by many shoppers in Warrington.

We hope this shop very soon will raise the funds so much needed for the projects in India and Africa.
