Now registered charity in The UK

The board of Development Aid from People to People UK (DAPP UK) is happy to announce that we are now a registered charity in The United Kingdom

We want to join the many warm hearted people and organisations, who with great determination and commitment raise funds helping the poorest people in the world.

Development Aid from People to People UK is our name:

Development – It is about fostering new generation with golden hearts and heads and hands, well educated and with a personal ethic of such proportion that humanized relationships of all sizes can serve as substitute for all sorts of dehumanized phenomena.

From People to People

More than ever before have global problems like poverty, environmental disasters, wars and pandemic like HIV/AIDS been public knowledge in our part of the world.

There is a growing demand for action.

When ‘Make Poverty History’ addressed the G8 Summit in Glen Eagle in the summer 2005, 38million people send their message to the leaders of the rich world.

‘ No more promises, we want to see actions.’

From People to People-

From us who have plenty to so many in the poorest part of the world who have nothing.

UK

This indicate that we are not the only organization called

Development Aid from People to People.

Development Aid from People to People in Zambia, Malawi, Namibia and Zimbabwe and Ajuda de Desenvolvimento de Povo para Povo in Angola and Mozambique have worked for over 20 years in their countries focusing on sustainable development

  • Training teachers for the primary schools in the rural areas.
  • Organizing and training farmers to improve food production.
  • Improving the environment and water supply.
  • Combating the spread of HIV/AIDS, and taking care of the orphans.

In UK there is an old tradition of raising funds for charitable purposes.

DAPP UK will appeal to people to join our effort to raise funds for development aid programs in the poorest part of the world.

Be invited!

Trond Narvestad (chair of DAPP UK)
