Computers for Teacher Training in MalawiDAPP UK joins Humana People to People's effort to equip Students at Humana People to People's teacher training colleges in Malawi, Angola and Mozambique with computers We can use all makes and models as long as the processor is 533 MHz or above.
With the objective to secure the access to modern and necessary information for an updated education, DAPP UK is participating in an action equipping all the teachers training colleges run by Humana People to People in Angola, Mozambique and Malawi with a laptop for each student.
Each school will be equipped with a very powerful server, which will allow integrating second hand computers in the local network of each school without harming the speed or the computer. As the electric grid, in the countries in Africa, requires equipment that can operate on 220V, we can use laptops, but not desktop computers from the US.
For this reason we are looking for companies, schools and individuals having changed their laptops equipment recently or being on the verge of doing so.
If your or your company/school has laptops that are no longer needed, please contact info@dapp-uk.org Tel: 01536 407902 Read more at www.humana.org |
